SAP S/4HANA Programme Manager, Europe

This multi-year programme will simplify, standardise and modernise business processes, data and technology through the implementation of a future-state operating model enabled by SAP S/4HANA.

Based in London, you will operate at the heart of the programme, partnering with senior business leaders, technology teams, global programme stakeholders and external delivery partners across Europe and internationally.

This is far more than a traditional project management role. You will be responsible for shaping delivery plans, identifying and resolving issues before they impact critical milestones, aligning diverse stakeholder groups and ensuring programme objectives are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Integrated Programme Planning

• Own and maintain integrated programme plans spanning global, regional and local deployment activities.

• Manage critical path activities, dependencies, milestones, resource requirements and key decision points.

• Ensure programme plans remain aligned across business, technology and transformation workstreams.

Business Unit Delivery

• Lead end-to-end deployment activities across assigned business units.

• Oversee localisation, testing, readiness, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.

• Ensure successful transition into business-as-usual operations.

Governance and Reporting

• Deliver concise, executive-level reporting and governance materials.

• Provide transparent visibility of programme status, risks, resource requirements and delivery health.

• Facilitate steering committees and senior stakeholder forums.

Candidate Profile

Essential Experience

• Extensive programme or project management experience within large-scale business transformation programmes.

• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.

• Proven delivery leadership across complex ERP-enabled transformations.

• Strong programme planning and dependency management capability.

• Experience leading geographically dispersed and matrix-managed teams.

• Excellent governance, risk and issue management experience.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
